Two days of collaborative work on the One Group approach. Held at the end of May and coordinated by the Airport Network Monitoring Centre (DGOM) and the HR Transformation and Training Support Units, this initiative brought together ten employees from the international business networks: technical, operations, security, airside and information systems. This training course, which consists of leading discussions by mobilising collective intelligence, is an opportunity to play an active role in the transformation of Groupe ADP’s international culture. "The aim is to professionalise and harmonise our practices to facilitate international working groups and seminars”, explains Nathalie Vairel, DGOM Director. “We need tools, but we also need know-how and interpersonal skills to drive the roll-out of the operational excellence model within the Group.” This training will be applied on 12 and 13 June at the One Group “Data & Operations” seminar at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

FIRST COMMERCIAL FLIGHT OF A ‘MADE IN CHINA’ AIRCRAFT

A Chinese-designed airliner, the C919, has completed its maiden commercial flight, marking a turning point for the Chinese air transport sector, which has long sought to rival its most popular western competitors such as the Boeing 737 MAX and the Airbus A320. DOHA WELCOMES THE RETURN OF CHINESE CUSTOMERS

The long-awaited return of Chinese tourists will boost the strong recovery in global tourism after the Covid-19 years, according to industry players in Doha. Qatar Airways flights from China are enjoying high load factors. “Not only do they pay the fares imposed due to a lack of available capacity, but they spend more money in our airport’s duty-free shops than any other nationals”,said the Qatar Airways CEO.
